Thai Palms Disclaimer
1) PHYTO-SANITARY CERTIFICATE
For destinations which require the phyto-sanitary certificate, it is provided free for orders over $25. For orders under $25, there is an $15 surcharge automatically added to the order. The phyto-sanitary certificate provided by the Thai Office Of Plant Quarantine is accepted worldwide, including at United States customs.
2) IMPORT PERMITS
Import permit laws differ depending on your location and change over time. It is the customer's own responsibility to check his or her local laws. However, most destinations do not require an import permit.
Import permit requirements may apply to customers in the US (in particular CA), Brazil and South Africa, expecially for large packages. Please check with your local authority.
US customers who are not sure of import requirements can call 1-877-770- 5990 for more information.
3) DELIVERY TIME
Customers note the order time as specified for the different order items and acknowledge that these are conservative approximations and acknowledge that the majority of our orders are sent out long before the deadline and that sometimes the order may take longer than specified.
Current Delivery Estimates: seeds and seedlings, no more than 28 days.
4) PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS
Payments for Thai Palms palm seeds and palm seedlings are made online either via PayPal or 2checkout. Because we are using third-party processors, payments go through immediately so we will receive your payment before the order is sent. However, both PayPal and 2checkout have a refund function so refunds can made easily and immediately in the case where the seeds cannot be sent or the customer is unable to receive the seeds.
Because Thai Palms uses online third-party processors only, we therefore cannot accept credit card payments directly by fax or over the phone, but only via our third-party processors, 2checkout.com and paypal.com.
For larger orders and customers who are unable to use PayPal or 2checkout, payment can be made via international bank wire.
